PHILADELPHIA, April 29, 2014 – Local nonprofit Cradles to Crayons has earned Charity Navigator’s highest rating of 4-stars for the sixth straight year – one of only three percent of the more than 7,000 of America’s best-known charities rated by the nation’s premier charity rating service to achieve that mark.
Charity Navigator helps guide intelligent giving by evaluating the financial health, accountability and transparency of more than 7,000 charities, disclosing basic information on the remainder of the 1.4 million U.S. nonprofits, and providing donors with the tools to conduct their own evaluation of individual charities.
