Shire’s BIG GIVE is an annual donation drive hosted by Shire in support of Cradles to Crayons, a non-profit organization dedicated to serving children in need aged 0-12 with essential items they need to thrive. Since its inception in 2008, the BIG GIVE, Shire’s signature philanthropic event, has collected enough items to help 20,000 children affected by the acute effects of poverty in the Greater Philadelphia region. Who: You and others: families, friends, schools, sports teams, businesses, community groups. Everyone is invited — spread the word!
What: Bring new and gently-used children’s clothing, coats, shoes, books, toys, baby equipment, and school supplies for children aged 0-12.

How: You bring the donations. We collect, sort and distribute these basic essentials, free of charge, to thousands of Philadelphia-area kids who need them most.
