Corporate Engagement
Cradles to Crayons relies on corporations for the financial support, collection drives, and volunteer hours we need to help thousands of local children thrive. A partnership with Cradles to Crayons can increase your company’s visibility, creates goodwill among key constituencies, and helps achieve business goals. Most importantly, you can work with us to make a positive difference in the lives of local children in need. There are three primary ways that corporations engage with Cradles to Crayons:
Support Our Work: Corporate funding represents more than 40% of Cradles to Crayons’ annual revenue. Corporations support Cradles to Crayons’ programs and sponsor signature Cradles to Crayons events including the Backpack-A-Thon and the Un-Gala. Companies also donate funds to support their employees’ volunteer or product collection efforts. For more information, contact Susan Hight, Development Director.
Volunteer: Volunteering at the Cradles to Crayons Giving Factory warehouse provides an easy avenue for your employees to work together on a common cause. Our volunteer opportunities can provide up to 100 employees or more with a meaningful, productive, and fun team-building experience.
We are open for Corporate Groups Wednesday – Friday, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. & 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. (or all day with one-hour break for lunch). For more information or to schedule, please contact Sarah Busbey, Volunteer Manager.
Children’s Product Drive: Collecting new and gently used children’s items for Cradles to Crayons is a great way for companies to give back to the community without ever leaving the office. A Cradles to Crayons staff member will lead you along the way and provide you with collection toters, flyers, and other materials. For more information or to schedule your company’s collection, contact Selena Brown, Outreach Coordinator.
Have an idea for your company to support Cradles to Crayons in a different way? Cradles to Crayons is always looking for new and exciting ideas to partner with companies in ways that help local children while meeting your business and employee engagement goals. Please contact Susan Hight or (215) 836-0958, ext. 208, to discuss other creative engagement options.
