Most Needed Items are immediate needs of children's essential items in our warehouse. The most prevalent out-of-stock items are new underwear & socks, pants, winter coats, and books.
Shire's Big Give to Benefit Cradles to Crayons
Shire’s Big Give is an annual region-wide community donation drive to help children in need. Schools, families, companies and community groups are invited to donate new and gently used clothing, coats, books, toys, baby safety equipment, school supplies, and any item a child between 0-12 might need to Big Give events in Philadelphia.
Who: You and others: families, friends, schools, sports teams, businesses, community groups—all are invited—spread the word!
What: Bring new and nearly new children’s clothing, coats, shoes, books, toys, baby equipment, and school supplies.
When: Donations will be collected on: Friday, October 12, Noon - 8:00 pm and Saturday, October 13, 9:00 am- 3:00 pm (please see list of regional drop-off locations for Saturday)
Where: Wilson Farm Park, Chesterbrook Corporate Center (Chesterbrook exit off Rt. 202)

How: You bring the donations. We collect, sort and distribute these basic essentials, free of charge, to thousands of Philadelphia-area kids who need them most.
