Giving Factory @ Home

Stay safe while helping us support children in need.

The COVID-19 crisis continues to exacerbate the need for essential items for families in homeless and low-income situations. As Cradles to Crayons is currently unable to welcome large groups of volunteers to The Giving Factory to help us, we have created a new opportunity to bring our volunteer experience to you remotely: Giving Factory @ Home!

Through Giving Factory @ Home, Cradles to Crayons offers activities for you and your family to continue helping us provide essential items to local kids from the safety of your home. These activities replicate volunteer stations we would normally facilitate in the warehouse. We cycle through different activities based on where we have the greatest need, and each of them is extremely helpful to us. If you would like to participate, please sign up with our form below!

After signing up you will schedule a pickup time to collect your Giving Factory @ Home activity from The Giving Factory in Newton (281 Newtonville Avenue). We will provide all the product, supplies, and instructions necessary to complete your activity, and all activities have been designed to take 1 person, 1.5 – 2 hours to complete. If you would like a little more than this you can let us know when you are collecting your items.

More than ever, we look to our community to help work toward our mission. Don’t forget to help spread the word by posting your efforts on social media and tagging us @c2cboston!
