Clean out your closets and give back to Cambridge! This October 1- 18, Mayor Marc C. McGovern is partnering with Cradles to Crayons to host a city-wide donation drive. Last year, Cradles to Crayons, an organization that provides essential items to children living in low-income or homeless situations, served more than 2,000 Cambridge children. Help provide the basics kids need to thrive by donating new or gently used clothing (up to an adult medium), shoes, and books at one of the following drop-off points:
- The Mayor’s Office (2nd Floor of City Hall)
- Department of Human Service Programs, 51 Inman Street
- Fire Department, 491 Broadway
- Police Department, 125 6th Street
- Cambridge Public Library, Main Branch
- Cambridge Public Library, O’Neil Branch
- Cambridge Public Library, O’Connell Branch
- Cambridge Public Library, Central Square Branch
- Gately Youth Center, 70R Rindge Avenue
