Champion Corps

The Cradles to Crayons Champion Corps program was created in 2010 as a means of increasing capacity to host volunteers at The Giving Factory, engage communities in donation drives, and serve more children. This program is an opportunity to engage adult volunteers who are looking for a way to give back and deepen their involvement beyond typical volunteer shifts or personal product donations.

Giving Factory Champion

Champion Volunteer Station Leader is responsible for conveying the Cradles to Crayons’ mission and quality standards by providing a high-quality station orientation and supervision of volunteers during the shift. They have a demonstrated ability to work with volunteers of all ages and abilities, and with a group of up to 30 individuals at a time.

Champion Volunteer Station Support is responsible for aiding the Station Leader. This may entail answering volunteers’ questions, getting station supplies during the shift, and helping with the set-up and breakdown of the volunteer station.

Production Support will aid the Production Team in facilitating a clean and organized Giving Factory. They will assist with weekly Production Team priority projects and initiatives. Time commitment may fall outside of normal volunteer shift hours.
