1 in 2 Children in Chicago is at Risk of Experiencing Clothing Insecurity
Cradles to Crayons currently meets a critical need in three regions that have significant percentages of children living below the poverty line: Boston 33%, Philadelphia 37%, and Chicago 33%. Poverty is defined as a family of four living off $24,250 or less for the year. But statistics don’t get to the heart of what we do. We help kids who don’t have access to basic resources; kids without shoes that fit, a coat warm enough to fend off winter winds, or a backpack to carry their books to and from school.
Including Cradles to Crayons in the celebration of your milestone event is a great way to share the importance of giving back. Use our Giving Recipes below to inspire your next milestone event.
