Become A Champion Volunteer

Cradles to Crayons invites committed community members to become Champion Volunteers! Join us in creating positive volunteer experiences that help provide Chicagoland children with all the essentials they need to thrive—at home, at school and at play.

Responsibilities for Champion Volunteers:

• Serve as a C2C mission ambassador.
• Lead diverse groups of volunteers.
• Train new volunteers & prepare volunteer stations.
• Restock shelves, pack hygiene kits, fill orders, and provide light warehouse maintenance.

Requirements:

All Champion Volunteers are required to:

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Attend a new volunteer orientation.
• Commit to serving for at least 12 months; weekly and biweekly shifts.
• Exceed 40 hours of service per year.
• Attend 3 previous volunteer shifts at the Giving Factory within the last 6 months.
• Attend a new Champion volunteer orientation.
• Be flexible to work in different stations and tasks in the warehouse.
