National Clothing Insecurity relief nonprofit expands leadership team

Boston, MA (May 10, 2023) – Cradles to Crayons is pleased to welcome its new Vice President of National Philanthropy, Yvette McClymont, and Vice President of Operations, Connie Olson.

Yvette McClymont has over 15 years of experience developing major giving programs, fundraising, and building donor relationships, including at Presence Health Foundation, Rush University Medical Center, Alzheimer’s Association, and Bible League International. Most recently, McClymont served as the Territorial Director of Major Gifts at Salvation Army – Central Territory.

At Cradles to Crayons, McClymont is a key member of the executive team. In this new role, McClymont will be focused on establishing national fundraising efforts for Cradles to Crayons.  She will work closely with Lynn Margherio, Founder + CEO, and other leadership to develop fundraising strategies and fundable programs and will establish and staff the National Board’s Development Committee.

Connie Olson brings over 20 years of expertise in operations management and organizational development from her past roles at Keurig DrPepper and Procter & Gamble. Olson comes to Cradles to Crayons from Philips where she served as Head of North America Supply Chain Transformation & Customer Collaboration.

At the national clothing insecurity relief nonprofit, Olson will join the executive team to support colleagues in meeting Giving Factory, market, and organizational goals. Olson will implement strategic initiatives, build systems, discover opportunities for collaboration and integration, and leverage best practices to ensure efficiency and consistency.

McClymont holds a B.A. in Psychology from Governor’s State University. Olson holds an M.B.A. from Northeastern University in addition to a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern University.
