Adults (21+) are invited to celebrate the Giving Season in style with C2C craft cocktails, delicious appetizers and sweet treats, plus music, dancing, and exciting auction items – all in support of keeping kids warm this winter.
Guests of the Purple Party will enjoy exclusive access to bid on our most coveted packages during both live and silent auctions. All proceeds will benefit our Gear Up for Winter initiative, which provides coats and warm clothing to more than 35,000 local children. In addition to supporting our Gear Up for Winter initiative, join us in celebrating Executive Director, Michal Smith’s 15 years of leadership and service.

Our Spring Greening initiative highlights our commitment to serving people and the planet. Cradles to Crayons diverts thousands of pounds of clothing from landfills every year in Greater Philadelphia, redistributing these new and gently used clothing essentials back into use locally and decreasing the overall carbon footprint for these critical clothing resources. Through our Philadelphia Giving Factory, we’re getting high-quality clothing directly into the hands of children to meet their growing needs.
Clothing donations are the backbone of our efficient and effective model that provides a million packages of clothing essentials every year. Responsible clothing recycling can be complicated—but Cradles to Crayons provides an easy, tangible, and effective way to ensure your donation goes directly to kids in our communities and supports sustainability at the same time.
