(Philadelphia, PA) – Cradles to Crayons announced it is joining Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox & Roach and the Trident Group for Gear Up For Winter Initiative. 70 Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices are to participate in the winter gear collection effort.
Cradles to Crayons, a nonprofit organization that provides children from birth through age 12 living in homeless or low-income situations, with the essential items they need, announced it is joining Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox & Roach and the Trident Group.
Cradles to Crayons and BHHS Fox & Roach/Trident are teaming up for Cradles to Crayons’ Gear Up For Winter initiative, the nonprofit’s winter program which aims to deliver the essentials to children in need to keep them safe and warm. To do so, all BHHS Fox & Roach/Trident offices across the Tri-State area will collect new and gently used items now through Dec. 1. Items to be collected include children’s winter clothes, winter coats, new socks and underwear, shoes and winter boots and hats and gloves.
“We are delighted to have BHHS Fox & Roach/Trident working with us towards our goal of keeping Philadelphia’s children warm this winter,” said Michal Smith, executive director of Cradles to Crayons Philadelphia. “Through their collection sites, we are able to tap into numerous new communities who could help in our goal to protect the region’s children and for that we are forever grateful.”
