Cradles to Crayons to host new warehouse grand opening in East Falls
WHAT: With a goal of increasing the number of Philadelphia area children they serve from 70,000 to 100,000 children annually, Cradles to Crayons has relocated to a 33% larger Giving Factory warehouse in the East Falls neighborhood of Philadelphia. The new Giving Factory warehouse grand opening will feature a ribbon cutting, remarks from Cradles to Crayons Executive Director Michal Smith, tours of the new warehouse and volunteer activities featuring hands on service opportunities.
WHO: Cradles to Crayons is an award winning non-profit organization that provides children from birth through age 12, living in homeless or low-income situations, with the essential items they need to thrive – at home, at school and at play. The organization supplies these items free of charge by engaging and connecting communities through impactful volunteerism.
