Update 6/29: Consistent with public health guidelines, Cradles to Crayons suspended product collections in March 2020. Since then we have closely monitored local updates, and created new safety protocols to allow for a phased return to operations. As we enter a new phase of re-opening, Cradles to Crayons is excited to announce that our organization will begin to accept donations again as of Monday, July 6. We have also updated our donation guidelines to reflect the items we can currently accept and distribute at this time. Please understand that for the safety of our community, we are only collecting donations in our new outdoor units in our parking lot. Place your items in the open unit, as far back as possible. Units will be locked as each fills, so that we can quarantine donations for 72 hours. Thank you.

Keeping our staff, partners, and volunteers safe and minimizing the spread of the COVID-19 virus is our top priority at this time. Given the gravity of the situation in Pennsylvania, and the rapid spread of the virus across the U.S. and globally, Cradles to Crayons will be taking the following measures to help ensure the well-being of all our communities Note, no known cases of COVID-19 have been reported at our Giving Factory, however, we are taking extra precautions to help ensure the continued well-being of our community.

We will be making the following changes to our operations:

The Giving Factory will be closed beginning Monday, March 16: for the safety of all, our warehouse is physically closed and all staff is working from home.

Volunteering at the Giving Factory: We will be suspending all volunteer activities and events scheduled to take place at our Giving Factory. This includes standard volunteer shifts for Champions, individuals & families, corporate employees, community groups, Family Leadership Circle and Teen Leadership Corps events.

KidPack Ordering: We will continue to fulfill all current KidPack orders but will turn off the system to any new orders. In the coming days, we will determine what critical items we can continue to provide to our partners.

We know these decisions will have an impact on our staff, volunteers, partners and most importantly, the kids and families we serve; so please know that we did not make them lightly. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding and we will keep you informed of any new developments.
