Lend a Helping Hand

Every week, we welcome volunteers to our Giving Factory warehouses—located in Boston, Chicago, and Philadelphia—to help us process new and gently used children’s items. During a two-hour shift, volunteers are assigned to projects like sorting items by type or by size, creating bundles, and packaging everything up for distribution to local children.

Volunteers love the community they experience in our Giving Factories. We’re proud to work with volunteers who join us individually or with family, friends, community groups, school groups, corporate groups—everyone is welcome in our Giving Factories, even children ages five and up! Visit your city’s Volunteer page below for details on volunteering in a local Giving Factory and more ways to get involved.
