Help End Diaper Need in Greater Philadelphia
Diapers are one of the most crucial parts of dressing a young child from head to toe, yet children experiencing diaper need face harmful health outcomes—as do their parents and caregivers.
Currently, over 200 human service agencies rely on Cradles to Crayons as their primary source for diaper supplies and wipes. There are no state or comprehensive federal benefits programs specific to preventing diaper need, as SNAP and WIC benefits cannot be applied to a diaper purchase. 28% of parents with diaper need have skipped meals in the last month to afford diapers, and 1 in 4 adults with diaper need miss work each month, as they cannot drop their child off at daycare without a supply of diapers.
In addition to providing diapers, our Gear Up for Baby initiative, presented by Cuties® by First Quality®, supplies clothing, onesies, hygiene kits, and more—all at no cost to families in need. When you support our initiative, you’re helping a local family provide the essentials their child needs to thrive.
Through our partnership with Cuties®, we are highlighting diaper need and the surrounding issues of poverty which affect the well-being and healthy development of infants and toddlers we serve. A portion of the proceeds from every sale of Cuties diapers will be donated to Cradles to Crayons.
