We’re Making a Difference in Children’s Lives
Cradles to Crayons was founded on the philosophy that unused resources should be redistributed to the places they are needed most. Families struggling to pay for rent and groceries often cannot afford anything else. Basic items for their children—properly fitting outfits for school, diapers, a backpack, shoes, pajamas, a coat for cold weather—are simply not possible.
Cradles to Crayons’ mission and model enable our volunteers and donors to turn compassion into action and provide the essential items children need to thrive at school, participate fully in life, and simply be a kid.

We have more than 70 drop-off locations located across Massachusetts, ready to accept your new and gently used clothing and shoe donations.
Current Programs and Events
Green Monster Sock and Underwear Drive
Cradles to Crayons is teaming up with the Red Sox Foundation to collect brand-new socks and underwear for children. Now through June 30, when you donate new pairs of socks or underwear, you’ll be entered for the chance to win TWO Green Monster tickets to the Boston Red Sox game on August 5, 2026.
Clean for Kicks with ScrubaDub
Our Clean for Kicks partnership with ScrubaDub is back! This partnership—running April 9 through April 27—supports Cradles to Crayons’ Spring Greening initiative, which promotes giving gently-used children’s clothing and footwear a second life through community donations while helping reduce waste.
