Discover the Joy of Serving Others
Our valued volunteers are the heart and soul of our mission at Cradles to Crayons®. There are so many opportunities for you to help — in ways that fit your skills, your lifestyle, and the time you have to give.
We work with thousands of families, individuals, community groups, and companies to serve the 1 in 3 children across Massachusetts at risk of experiencing Clothing Insecurity, annually. Our volunteers sort and inspect the donated items we receive and then package them for delivery to the children who need them. Volunteers are critical to our work, both in The Giving Factory and at community-based events. We invite you to join our team!
Volunteer With Your Company
The Giving Factory at Cradles to Crayons, which accommodates groups up to 120 employees, is especially suited for corporate volunteering and team-building programs. The result is a meaningful, productive, and fun employee experience — for a cause that even the most varied corporate groups can relate to.
Volunteer With Your Family
Our Giving Factory in Newton is one of the few places where entire families, including children as young as age five, can volunteer side-by-side making lasting family memories as they help make a real difference in the lives of others. When people inquire about volunteering at Cradles to Crayons, they’re amazed at how widely our services are needed. When they come here to help, they’re also amazed to actually be filling orders for specific children, and to know exactly how many children and families they helped that day. At Cradles to Crayons, the feeling of fulfillment you get from helping your neighbors makes volunteering even more personal.
