Help children experiencing Clothing Insecurity get shoes that fit!
We are excited to partner with our friends at ScrubaDub for the eighth year on Clean for Kicks, a program that aims to provide proper footwear to local children living in homeless or low-income situations. This partnership supports our Spring Greening initiative, which promotes giving gently-used children’s clothing and footwear a second life through community donations while helping reduce waste.

April 11 through April 28, visit any of ScrubaDub‘s 20+ New England locations and donate $5 OR a gently-used (or new!) pair of shoes, and you’ll receive a complimentary UltraShine Wax with your carwash.
You can also click here to make a $10 online donation and receive a FREE Express Car Wash, which you can redeem at any ScrubaDub location. All online donors receive a chance to win 1 year of free express car washes. Random winner selected by 5/31/2025.

This month, ScrubaDub is hosting community events with New England sports teams so customers and families can enjoy meeting their local team mascots while supporting Clean for Kicks:

Your support for this program will help us provide footwear and other essential items to children as we look ahead to nicer weather!
In recognition of the City of Boston’s One Boston Day and its call for community-based service, Cradles to Crayons® is hosting a sneaker drive in partnership with local West Roxbury and Roslindale businesses.
From April 21– May 2, Bostonians are invited to drop off donations of new and gently used children’s footwear at the participating West Roxbury and Roslindale locations below:

This sneaker drive will help us provide appropriate footwear to children in Massachusetts experiencing Clothing Insecurity.

Join fellow professionals who work in Corporate Social Responsibility in The Giving Factory this June for Connect & Contribute: Corporate Engagement for Good!
Are you passionate about social responsibility and meaningful employee engagement? Join us for a special event designed to inspire connection, learning, and impact. Together, we’ll explore how to deepen employee engagement—while directly supporting Cradles to Crayons in our mission to end Clothing Insecurity for children across Massachusetts.
You’ll hear from an expert from Harvard University as they share insights into employee engagement best practices. Then, take part in breakout discussions with fellow attendees to exchange ideas and real-world strategies for fostering a more engaged and purpose-driven workplace.
We’ll close the event with an hour of hands-on volunteering in our Newton Giving Factory—a chance to build connections while helping provide essential items to local children in need.
