On March 24th, Cathy Basrak, Assistant Principal Viola in the Boston Symphony Orchestra, is hosting a Benefit Concert for Cradles to Crayons. Featured artists include the Boston Cello Quartet, members of the Boston Symphony Orchestra and members of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, plus a special cameo performance by a world-renowned musician. It’s not every day that you get to see all of these musicians (and a mystery guest!) in one city performing for a great cause.
Cathy shares, “Running the 2014 Boston Marathon as a member of Team Cradles to Crayons is the most important way I can show my commitment to Boston, its residents, and the underserved communities that truly know the meaning of Boston Strong! When we can give back to strengthen the resolve and the hearts of those who are struggling most, we truly are helping them put one foot in front of another.
