Cradles to Crayons’ Annual Un-Gala is a special holiday tradition that highlights our Gear Up for Winter initiative in a festive day of hands-on service.

Families with children and corporate representatives work side by side during this unique celebration that combines philanthropy with volunteer engagement on behalf of children in need. The event features mascots from your favorite Boston sports teams, kid-friendly activities and entertainment, a special volunteer shift, a delicious meal, and an impact presentation.

A Massachusetts winter is unpredictable. Inches of snow and below-freezing temperatures put children without adequate protection at risk for cold weather illness and injury. School attendance is compromised for those without adequate winter essentials. For thousands of local children living in poverty, staying warm is a struggle indoors and outside. Find out more about our Gear Up for Winter initiative here.

You can help Cradles to Crayons support 40,000 children with coats, hats, and other warm essentials before the temperatures drop. Your generous contribution to our Gear Up for Winter initiative directly helps thousands of local children like Ameila:

“Amelia’s mother had an old coat and did not have money for winter boots. When we placed her order, Cradles to Crayons provided her with a brand new winter coat and waterproof winter boots. When she received the items, her eyes were filled with tears of happiness. She was so relieved to know that her daughter would be warm this winter.”
