Host A Drive

Thanks for your interest in our Garage Ambassador Program!

Fill out the form to the right and let’s get started.

Until poverty no longer exists, there will be children whose childhood will be impacted by limited access to clean clothing and shoes that fit. As a Garage Ambassador, you organize a drive to collect children’s items for us in your neighborhood! Why not start today?

1. Pick a date to host the collection drive. Most participants choose to host drives for two weeks but feel free to make the drive your own and fit it into your schedule.

2. Promote the drive dates to friends, family, and neighbors and use these resources to help get the word out.

3. Open your garage and get ready to collect essential items! Raise awareness for our mission on social media by sharing pictures from your drive. Tag @c2cchicago on Instagram or @cradlestocrayonschicago on Facebook.

4. Once the drive is over, sort through the donations for the most quality items. Remember, QUALITY = DIGNITY, and sorting before you donate helps us streamline the quality checking process at The Giving Factory and serve more kids—faster.

5. You are ready to drop off your donations!

Organizing a product collection for Cradles to Crayons is a great way for your social, civic, and church groups to serve a very worthy cause. Make us part of a giving-back day for your kids this summer. Be creative! Our staff is here to help with any information or guidance you may need.
