Cradles to Crayons has just passed a significant mission milestone in Philadelphia: since opening here in 2007, we have now served more than ONE MILLION CHILDREN across the region.

Rather than resting on this accomplishment, we have turned our sights to the NEXT million. With Philadelphia still ranked as the poorest big city in America, and daily requests for our services increasing, we know there is more work to be done.

Please join our C2C Quest in support of the Million Children Fund!

Choose the right division for your family or team:

FAMILY Division

In the Family Division, each family or household is one team, competing against other families.

Family Leadership Circle members: participation is included with your current membership!

COMMUNITY Division

The Community Division is ideal for schools, clubs, faith-based organizations, sports leagues, troops, or any other group who would like to work together as a team.

You will need to identify a Team Captain at registration.

CORPORATE Division

Companies can field teams of co-workers or employee families, and have the option to sponsor C2C Quest missions, highlighting your CSR commitment to the community.

To learn more, visit our C2C Quest Corporate page.

C2C Quest teams help meet these four mission-driven objectives:

ENGAGEMENT

The C2C Quest event is a remote “scavenger hunt” of service activities, allowing teams to volunteer together virtually by engaging in hands-on exercises from their own homes & neighborhoods.

AWARENESS

Participants will help raise awareness of Cradles to Crayons’ mission by engaging in fun & creative grassroots activities to promote our impact in the community and further our goal of serving the next million children.

FUNDRAISING

The Million Children Fund will support and expand Cradles to Crayons’ day-to-day operations to acquire, process, and distribute essential items to local children living in poverty, low-income, or homeless situations.

COLLECTION

Successful completion of Quality=Dignity activities will supply donations of pre-sorted and quality-checked children’s essential items, helping us provide these everyday basics to more children, more quickly.

What ages can participate?

All ages can participate!  If a team member is under 18, a parent name & contact info is required at registration so that we may get confirmation and agreement to our waiver and photo release.

Is there a registration fee?

Participation in C2C Quest requires a donation to the Cradles to Crayons Million Children Fund, which will support our efforts to acquire, process, and distribute essential items to local children living in low-income or homeless situations. You may choose any amount you wish to donate. Suggested donation amounts are included on the registration pages.

We are grateful to a handful of local families have come together to offer a Families Helping Families Challenge Match of $37,000 to help us launch this campaign, meaning that your gift right now will help us serve twice as many children!

Team Captains have the option of making one group donation on behalf of their team, or can request that individual team members give a personal gift in support of the Million Children Fund when they sign up. Please email us with any questions about team registration donations.

How do I become a Team Captain?

Every COMMUNITY & CORPORATE team needs a Team Captain who will set up your team, serve as a key communicator for Cradles to Crayons & event info, and coordinate team responses to maximize points earned.

You can create a team by clicking the registration buttons above, and please visit our Team Captains page to learn more about what is involved with this important role.

I'm confused - how exactly will this work?

Team members earn points by completing “missions” that involve creative ways of supporting Cradles to Crayons, including tasks that promote C2C on social media & in the community, volunteer projects such as collecting & inspecting children’s items, and peer-to-peer fundraising challenges.

The entire event runs on a smartphone app, so remote team members can play together from any location.

For more information on using the C2C Quest app and playing the game, visit our “How to Play” page.   If you still have questions which are not answered here or on the How to Play page,  please email us!

What is the Million Children Fund?

Although Cradles to Crayons has now served more than one million children in the Greater Philadelphia region, requests for our services continue to rise and we know there is more work to be done. It took 15 years to reach the first million, but we expect to serve the NEXT million kids in less than 5 years.

The Million Children Fund will support and expand our day-to-day operations to acquire, process, and distribute essential items to local children living in poverty, low-income, or homeless situations.

All C2C Quest registration donations will support the Million Children Fund. If you decide NOT to participate in C2C Quest, but would like to support the fund, please donate at: www.cradlestocrayons.org/philadelphia/mcfund.  Thank you!
